Tangier Street is basically the Northern route into town and if you're staying overnight, it will certainly be of interest. Containing numerous eating establishments and bars it's a freindly street during the day and a bustling lively one at night.

One fo the grandest buildings in the town centre is occupied by the Waverley Hotel at the head of the street. Lovely accomodation, a freindly bar and traditional home cooked fayre. Well worth a stop over in.
